Disaster Unemployment Asistance for Hurricane Irma
The National Employment Law Project (NELP) has prepared a Hurricane Irma fact
sheet <http://www.nelp.org/publication/how-workers-access-dua-after-hurricane-irma/> with basic information
about Disaster Unemployment Assistance (DUA). To qualify for DUA, the applicant must be out of work as a
direct result of Irma and not qualify for regular Reemployment Assistance.
We will also be providing additional FL-specific guidance on DUA in a brochure for clients. But, in the mean time,
